CNC PROGRAMMER - KENTWOOD, MI 1st SHIFT - $25-30/hr.



ANDRONACO INDUSTRIES, is a world-leading manufacturer of high performance Fluoropolymer and Composite products and technologies. We specialize in the manufacture of fluid handling and sealing products specifically designed for chemical, pharmaceutical, and ultra-pure related industries.


We offer a great working environment with an excellent team and are searching for an above-average individual to fill the role of CNC lathe programmer. A successful candidate will have the ability to program and operate Mazak CNC lathes to produce components that meet proper tolerances.


Job Qualifications:



  • Read, interpret blue prints, and produce parts in accordance with prints.

  • Uses gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.

  • Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.

  • Programming Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol.

  • Knowledge in Programming of Lathe with Fanuc Control using G-Code Programming.

  • Ability to set-up offset tools and operate machine to print tolerances.

  • Understand tolerancing.

  • Self-motivated individual.

  • Must have experience on Mazatrol T-32, T+, Fusion 640t, or Nexus controls.


Job Duties



  • Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

  • Reads and interprets blueprints.

  • Understand tolerancing.

  • Measure parts using gages, calipers and micrometers.

  • Uses gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.

  • Properly and safely replace inserts and materials into machines.

  • Performs daily and regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.

  • Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements and safety procedures.

  • Complies with all quality policies, specifications, regulations and instructions.

  • Perform first piece inspection on simple geometry.

  • Clear chips from parts during operation stops.

  • Identify part defects and alert supervisor.

  • Understand tool wear and when to change tooling.

  • Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.

We are a growing manufacturing company seeking an above-average individual to fill this role on our maintenance team. This position performs facility maintenance and machine maintenance. We are seeking a State Certified Journeyman Electrician or Master License with a proven track record working in an Industrial environment. The successful candidate will possess all of the following skills and experience:


· Strong knowledge of NEC


· Proficient working with voltages up to 480 volts


· Proficient with conduit installation


· Single phase and three phase voltage system knowledge


· Basic motor control wiring


· Ladder logic and PLC programming knowledge.


· Strong electrical troubleshooting skills


· Good basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems


· Some machinery to maintain: Mazak CNC's, Cincinnati Milacron injection molding machines, extrusion machines, manual machine centers, compression presses, chiller and thermolators, electrical and gas fired ovens


· Good communication skills


· Able to work independently or with a team


· Must be willing and able to work overtime


· Valid driver's license


· 5+ years of hands on electrical or maintenance experience

We are a growing composite pipe and tank manufacturing company in search of an above-average individual to fill a role in our Pipe fabrication department.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


·         Able to read, understand, and interpret the blueprint/isometric drawings and specification to determine the scope of work, including but not limited to: locations, quantities, and materials needed.


·         Knowledge of measurement tools needed to perform the job.


·         Becoming knowledgeable of the product and selecting the right product/material to perfume the required duties.


·         Able to prepare, fit, layout, fabricate and assemble pipe and other components needed together as required by the blueprint/isometric drawings or customer.


·         Use the right tools to clamp, fit/position, and tack-weld parts in place according to blueprint/isometric drawing for welding.


·         Perform leak test (in accordance with the customer requirement) to ensure the quality of the spools or fittings.


·         Maintain safe and clean work area.


·         Other duties as assigned


 


 


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:


·         Minimum of three (3) years as a fitter.


·         Able to read and interpret the blueprint/isometric drawings.


·         Strong attention to detail, and alert to ensure safety.


·         Ability to work in a team environment.


·         Able to operate forklift and overhead cranes.


·         Strong verbal communication skills (Spanish is a plus).


·         Strong problem-solving skills.


·         Self-motivated and able to work independently.


 *Pay range $21/hr. - $24/hr. commensurate with experience

This is a full-time position, and the hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00 pm or 7:00am – 4:00pm. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
