MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

To perform facility maintenance, machine maintenance, and provide improvement ideas. The successful candidate will possess all of the following skills and experience:


  • STRONG HYDRAULIC TROUBLESHOOTING SKILLS IS A MUST 

  • Strong pneumatic troubleshooting skills 

  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills

  • Strong MIG welding skills, also some TIG

  • Reading and fabricating from blueprints and sketches

  • Very strong mechanical skills

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively independently

  • Manual machining abilities; experience with mills, manual lathes

  • Other machinery to maintain: Mazak CNC's, Cincinnati Milacron injection molding machines, compression presses, PLC's, chiller/thermolator, electrical and gas fired ovens. 

  • Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed

  • Valid driver's license We are looking for someone with at least 2-5 years of prior hands-on maintenance experience. Pay commensurate with experience.

Andronaco Industries Pump Division Application Engineer

Andronaco Industries is looking for an Application Engineer to work in its pump division, Ramparts Pumps. Andronaco Industries is a world leader in corrosive fluid handling systems. As Andronaco Industries continues to grow we are looking for a driven Application Engineer to join our team. The following are some of the qualifications and qualities the incumbent will possess.

Application Development and Review -
A successful candidate will be able to assist customers with system design as required to accommodate Ramparts pumps and potentially other Andronaco Industries products. Assisting customers with design requires data acquisition, attention to detail and articulate communication with the customer in order to obtain the most information as expeditiously as possible.

Customer Quotes, Troubleshooting Repairs and Failure Analysis -
The Ramparts Application Engineer is also responsible for generating customer quotes based on applications from customer in addition to parts quotes for replacement parts. The Application Engineer also coordinates with the outside sales force to help follow-up with customers on quotes and offers for field support.

This position is also required to assist customers troubleshoot when a pump requires maintenance. Troubleshooting repairs also entails recommending replacement parts to solve any issue. During the process of troubleshooting a potential maintenance issue this individual will also assist in analyzing the failure to determine the cause and identifying a solution to prevent maintenance issues in the future.

Daily Tasks -
In addition to daily application and quoting tasks the incumbent will assist customer service in fielding emails, answering phones, entering orders, creating shipping documents and tracking daily sales. It will be a requirement for the candidate to learn how the workshop is operated and assist when is required by the production schedule.

Additional Tasks -
Education and training programs are the responsibility of the Application Engineer to develop and deliver to a number of audiences. Training seminars are provided to customers, end users and outside sales team members on a regular basis to maintain the knowledge base of our coworkers and customers.

Research and Development -
In collaboration with the Engineering Department team members, the candidate for this position will work to advance current products and develop new products to better serve our customers.

Quality Technician I

Objective:
The quality technician position inspects materials and products, making sure they are satisfactory per set standards.

Essential Functions:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:
This position operates in an office, and factory environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Position may also be required to travel between plants 2, and 3.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and lifting up to 50lbs throughout day. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Operating a computer.

Position type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
