The PureFlex® PVC Corrugated Cover Food and Sanitary Hose, is a highly flexible and economical hose ideally suited for the handling of dry food products, as well as bulk pharmaceuticals and cosmetics. Manufactured from FDA materials, it is crystal clear to allow the monitoring of material flow. This lightweight smooth bore hose is frequently used in pneumatic transfer of power, pellets and granular materials. The corrugated cover provides increase flexibility and the ease of handling.

  • SANITARY: The PureFlex PVC Corrugated Cover Food and Sanitary Hose complies with all applicable FDA (CFR Title 21 Parts 170 to 199), USDA (for Federally inspected meat and poultry plants) requirements and 3A (No. 20-15) sanitary standards.  Available with either a static dissipating copper wire or a white anti-static thermoplastic helix.
  • CHEMICAL COMPATIBILITY: PVC is resistant to a wide range of common food related by-products and chemicals (consult with the factory for specific recommendations).
  • COMPATIBLE: PVC is suitable for general use in slaughtering, processing, transporting and storage areas in direct contact with meats or poultry food products prepared under Federal Inspection. Suitable for the handling and processing of milk and milk products.

Fittings

Over 40 standard fitting styles available including flanged, sanitary, JIC, NPT, Cam Lock, PFA Encapsulated, Solid Kynar® and Polypropylene fittings. Standard material is 316 Stainless Steel. Non-Wetted fitting material is Epoxy Powder coated Carbon Steel. Fitting designs feature high performance smooth internal surface finishes exceeding Pharmacopoeia class VI, FDA, USDA, and 3A standards. All collars are Stainless Steel.

Electrically Heated Option

Electrically heated options may be applied to many of the hose assemblies available from PureFlex®. Our superior insulations and precisely applied heating elements provide the most temperature-stable heated hoses on the market. PureFlex heated hoses are excellent for maintaining viscosity control, freeze protection, and dispensing temperature-sensitive media. Temperature options available from ambient to 450°F (hose selection dependent).
