Food Grade Rubber Hose
The PureFlex® FlexSan™ Food Grade Rubber Hose, Suction and Discharge Rubber Hose, is designed for transfer of water-based and edible oil-based food products, juices, soft drinks, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. This ultra-flexible smooth bore hose is reinforced with spiral-wound, high tensile textile cords and multiple highly flexible helix wires. The smooth bore and smooth cover allow for ease of cleaning. FlexSan™ food grade rubber hose is used extensively in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, as well as the conveying of foods and beverages.
Product Features & Benefits
- APPLICATIONS: Various application include load cell filling, pump transfer applications, food and beverage handling, transfer to and from vessels and tanks, vacuum transfer, transportation, etc.
- CLEANABLE: The PureFlex® FlexSan™ Food Grade Rubber Hose can be sterilized with 30 PSI steam at 266°F for up to 30 minutes.
- SANITARY: The white smooth nontoxic NBR tube meets or exceeds FDA and 3A requirements.
- NON-MARKING: The white smooth NBR/PVC blended rubber cover will not leave traces on other process equipment.
- FLEXIBLE: The multiple steel helical wires give this hose a very small bend radius for tight bends and difficult routings.
- DURABLE: Designed to give lasting services even with constant use or exposure to hostile environments.
Fittings
Permanently crimped 316 Stainless Steel sanitary inserts with a 15RA or better internal surface finish, additional electro polishing, honing and grinding available. Permanently crimped 316 Stainless Steel male NPT, female JIC, cam and groove quick couplings. ANSI flanges and other commercial fitting inserts are also available.
Electrically Heated Option
Electrically heated options may be applied to many of the hose assemblies available from PureFlex®. Our superior insulations and precisely applied heating elements provide the most temperature-stable heated hoses on the market. PureFlex heated hoses are excellent for maintaining viscosity control, freeze protection, and dispensing temperature-sensitive media. Temperature options available from ambient to 450°F (hose selection dependent).
