Advanced Fluid Management Solutions
Water can react with other materials and become acidic or alkaline. To prevent corrosion, water can be chemically stabilized to a particular pH before distribution. This objective is achieved by adding lime and sometimes carbon dioxide. Water must also be disinfected to kill microorganisms. This objective can be achieved by adding chlorine or ozone. Wastewater treatment may contain highly corrosive chemicals and gases, and sludge management is very important to keep waste disposal to a minimum. All these scenarios require careful selection of piping & fittings, valves, tanks, and pumps to reduce costly corrosion, maintenance, and purity problems within water and wastewater facilities.
