Endurance™ Composites FRP Dual Laminate Pipes and Fittings incorporate a proprietary bonding procedure which overcomes the common mode of failure in other dual laminate pipes. The hybrid system is made of fiberglass (FRP/GRP) structure outside and specialized thermoplastic or fluoropolymer liner inside. The liner is matched to specific chemical requirements to optimize longevity including the ability to withstand high temperature requirements or abrasion resistance.

Dual laminate is a hybrid system made of specialized thermoplastic liner inside, and fiberglass (FRP/GRP) structure outside. The thermoplastic liner can be matched to specific chemical requirements, which provides long life and the ability to withstand abrasion and high temperatures.

- DURABLE FIBERGLASS (FRP/GRP) COMPOSITE MATRIX EXTERIOR:
Endurance Composites dual laminate pipe is manufactured with a durable fiberglass (FRP/GRP) composite matrix exterior for mechanical strength. It offers good corrosion resistance to strong acids, chlorine, oxidizing agents, salts, industrial waste water, scrubbers, pickling liquors, and good resistance to caustics, acids, solvents, salt solutions and drains.
- CORROSION RESISTANT INTERIOR:
The corrosion resistant thermoplastic or fluoropolymer interior offers exceptional service against dangerous and hazardous chemistry. It offers superior resistance to leaching agents, chemical attack as well as high purity process capabilities.
- Resistant to most solutions of acids, alkalis, salts, and organic compounds mixed with water. Not resistant to aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
- Similar to PVC but higher temperature tolerances.
- Resistant to mineral acids, salt solutions, aliphatic and many organic solvents at higher temperatures than HDPE. Unsuited for concentrated oxidizing acids.
- Resistant to most all chemicals: strong acids including nitric, hydrofluoric, sulfuric, chlorides, sulfates, bleach, solvents, caustics, and peroxides.
- Resistant to most solutions of acids, alkalis, salts, and organic compounds mixed with water. Not resistant to aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Complete Line of Fittings:
Endurance™ fittings are typically in stock for immediate shipping. Endurance Hand Lay Up fittings ensure consistent quality, mechanical strength, and the same corrosion resistance liner thickness as our pipe. We do not use or manufacture molded fittings like other piping companies, and this is to ensure the maximum amount of corrosive resistance for your need.
We can custom design and build complicated pipe spools in our facility under factory-controlled conditions. Our fabrication guarantees a successful, quick installation when downtime at the plant needs to be kept to a minimum. Our fittings are manufactured in a unique 3-stage process:
- Internal Corrosion Barrier: Minimum double synthetic veil reinforced resin rich internal corrosion barrier (inner liner), 60 mils minimum (Schedule 50=100 mils), per the recommendations of the resin manufacturers to improve chemical, impact, and abrasion resistance.
- Filament Wound Cage: Filament Wound Fittings are reinforced with alternating layers of glass cloth for axial strength, and continuous E-Glass strand for hoop strength, The structural cage of our fittings is saturated with aromatic amine cured Epoxy resin, selected by Endurance engineers for the high HDT performance (over 300°F).
- External Corrosion Barrier: Fittings are encapsulated with a Nexus reinforced external corrosion barrier to insure chemical resistance against spillage, impact resistance, and to provide a UV barrier that allows Endurance to extend a 25-year guarantee against UV light degradation, or "fiber-blooming".
